For almost ALL of my life, I have been the girl who NEVER misses a meal, especially lunch. I don’t know what has happened to me over the past year but I’ve become bad a lunch. I guess it’s work, (which I love, by the way) kids, (also love) housekeeping (I don’t love it at all) , life, etc. Rather than living off of an energy bar and some chips, I’ve found if I plan out my lunches early in the week and keep those ingredients on-hand, I’ll actually eat like a lady instead of a toddler. I have a couple of options on rotation but my favorite right now is a simple salad and a side of Stacy’s Cheese Petites. You know Stacy, she’s responsible for the putting the pita chip on the map. Well, she’s really outdone herself now. These Cheese Petites are AH-MAZING. Inspired by French cheese puffs, these bite-sized cheese snacks have real cheese baked inside. A good source of calcium and protein, they help elevate my lunch from the meh state it’s been in for quite sometime. There are two flavors: Parmesan with Rosemary & Romano with Garlic & Pepper. Don’t ask me which is my fave! I CAN NOT pick – I love them equally. Like my kids.
My next goal is to take my lady-like lunch to the next level which involves my salad, Stacy’s Cheese Petites, and TIME to leisurely catch up on my latest issues of People, Real Simple, Instyle, etc.. Hey, a girl cam dream, right?!?!
