Hi Lovelies! I may have a different answer tomorrow but if you ask me today what is the hardest part of parenting, I will say FEEDING THEM. (A close second would be getting brothers not to bother each other – ha!)
I am forever on the search for good, healthy snacks for my kids (and myself and husband for that matter!). Somehow, their small bodies require the same amount of nutrients it would take to feed an army. How will I ever survive teenagers?!?!? When hunting for new snacks, I’m looking for things with a good amount of protein, no artificial sweeteners flavors or colors, and great taste!
LALA Yogurt Smoothies fit the bill! They are made with real fruit and 5 grams of protein in each serving. LALA 4 packs and 10 packs have long been available at Walmart but starting this May, they are introducing single serves! This is especially great for my household who likes a few different flavors. Speaking of flavors, I just picked up Pina Colada flavor smoothies today for myself. I don’t think I’ll be sharing that one with the kids. I’ll at least share them with my husband!
I love to grab a few smoothies for my boys and myself as I’m heading out the door for after school pick up. They love them and think of the yogurt smoothies as a yummy snack rather than a regular old snack. Ha! A mom-win for sure. Find them in the yogurt section!
