I am so excited to share a couple of new beauty products with you guys!
Ladies, meet Advanced Clinicals! Advanced Clinicals, meet our friends! (This is a great opportunity to remind everyone that we only promote products that we actually like and use, and the following items join the ranks of that which we will buy again and again after we run out!)
The label reads: “Dedicated to advancing skin health & beauty backed by science. Advanced Clinicals is a revolutionary skin care line that stands behind clinically proven high quality ingredients and advanced, scientific delivery systems.” Though super-important and much appreciated by me, the ‘high quality ingredients’ and their proven results are not even my favorite things about the Collagen and Retinol Lotions. Allow me to explain:
So I have an odd approach to skincare products… I hate to spend a ton of money on skincare because I am forever in search of effective products, but I do tend to drop the big bucks on things that I think may do the trick. Once I invest in the high-dollar products, I become like Gollum and treat the creams and potions as ‘my Precious’. I use them so sparingly that I’m pretty much guaranteeing they will NOT to do the job they set out to do. It’s so dumb – like I’m sabotaging my own skin’s success. That brings me to the top two reasons why I LOVE these Advanced Clinicals products SO much.
Top reason 1: IT’S SPA SIZE y’all! You know what this means? It means that you will actually have enough of the product to see results! Unlike those tiny tubes of pricey serum that are used up before you can even tell whether it’s working.
To reason 2: EACH IS ONLY $5.99!! at Walmart. This, along with the fact that they are spa-sized is music to my ears. No more miserly rationing – use exactly as intended! Whenever you want! Lately, I’ve even been using it on those forgotten areas like my hands and neck. In fact, I use it on my hands the most because of brilliant packaging: a pump dispenser. Having the pump on top makes me 100% more likely to use it. I leave it on the bathroom counter and take a dollop every time I wash my hands. If this thing had a top, my hands would hardly ever enjoy these life-giving elixirs.
So to recap, the ‘Collagen Lotion’ reduces signs of aging and improves the elasticity of one’s skin. The ‘Retinol Lotion’ also reduces the visible signs of aging and replenishing moisture and increasing cell renewal (with a non-greasy formula).
