Tis the season for GIVING! Now that we have kids, we are all the more inspired this time of year to contribute to toy drives and shelters that help women and children. My husband and I try to be deliberate about letting the boys (and eventually, the girl) actively participate in the act of giving to others. Our 4-year-old especially was excited about the toy-giving mission this year.
In addition to the toys, though, I figure ‘why not add in a healthy drink that the kids will love and their moms will feel good about feeding them?’. As moms, I know we can all relate to how good it feels to know our kids are eating/drinking something that isn’t harmful to them, so this year I’m adding a case of Capri Sun® to the mix, because I know there’s a mom out there who will appreciate a great-tasting snack without artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
Whether or not you add in some edible fun to the mix this year, I hope you’ll pass along some blessings and kindness to others, because God (quite literally) knows we, the Jerkins, have a lot to pay forward.
