I know what you’re thinking… “Really, Bethany?! My spa day doesn’t include shaving my legs OR being at home.” Well, hang in there. Let me explain.
Real Spa Days don’t actually happen for me, ever. It’s no one’s fault but my own. My sweet husband would gladly hold down the fort while I splurged and got pampered, but I just can’t justify those costs. Every single time, I would talk myself out of spending the money. You know what I can get behind? Treating myself at home. Here are my favorite ways.
- A hot bath with epsom salts and herbs or flowers. It smells amazing and is so lovely to look at. Here I chose rose petals, rosemary, and mint.

- A really great razor, for a really great shave. Y’all. I have fallen in love with this razor. I know, I know. Ridiculous. You’ll believe me when you try it. The Schick® Intuition® razor shaves well with its four blade razor, but what really got me on board is the one step lather and shave. No lathering-up-while-trying-to-avoid-the-water-because-it-will-rinse-off-your-work dance. One simple step. Brilliant.
