Guys, I already confessed last week that I don’t really work out these days. I’m hopeful that I’ll fall back into a routine but let’s be honest, you don’t just accidentally start working out – it’s intentional. Well until I can be intentional about it, I’m going to focus on other important things like spending uninterrupted time with my kids. I can’t tell you how many times a day I hear, “mommy, will you play with me?” It’s pretty precious but it also makes me sad when I can’t drop everything to fulfill their request. I have found that it is easier for me to take a break from work and get down in the floor to play with them when I’m in my comfy athleisure gear. And now that’s it’s getting warmer outside I may actually accidentally burn some calories by chasing them around the yard and playing 3 man duck duck goose. (It’s just like regular duck duck goose with far less excitement.)
Anyway I know it doesn’t seem like much but it really does help if I’m already in my work out clothes when I’m trying to squeeze in some playtime between phone meetings and answering emails.
The top de jour? I’m loving both the solid tees and the graphic tees by Athletic Works. ‘Namast’ay at home’ always makes me chuckle and that pink solid shirt?! Well y’all know I love pink ????????????. They are super soft, a great length and the colors and graphics are adorable. Grab a few of these and have them on the ready for those days when your calorie burning consists of building a tower with soft blocks, coloring, and/or actual working out. ???? Only $4.96 y’all!
