Being a work-from-home mom means a lot of really great things: Freedom to work when it’s convenient, flexibility to build my own schedule, and sometimes working nights and weekends in order to be with my girls during the day. The thing I have to be certain I’m doing is managing my time well. My five year old daughter is in kindergarten, but my two year old is in a Mother’s Day Out only two days a week. Her school days are my “get everything done days” because when she’s with me, I like to be present with her. So, that means my work days are crammed FULL of to-do lists, conference calls, meeting, catching up on emails, photo shoots, creating posts, hunting for in-store finds, and probably a million more things that I can’t remember right now.

In the middle of all of that, I have to remember to take care of myself. One way I can do that is by planning ahead for my lunches those days. SmartMade™ meals make that easy for me. They’ve created meals with clean ingredients, smart swaps – like Spinach Fettucine, and they only cost $3.28 at Walmart!

On my usual grocery run, I stock up on SmartMade™ frozen meals so that I can make good lunch choices on my busy work days… and busy mom days, too. 😉 I wish this post was scratch & sniff, y’all. These meals are so delicious! I’ve loved each one that I’ve tried so far, and there are 12 different varieties available at Walmart! I’ll have one working lunch, please! 😉
