Over the course of maybe 8 years, I’ve had a smart phone. Do you know how many of those I’ve ruined? Several. Wanna know why? It’s because I refused to get a good case. Enter: OtterBox. I know, I know. They’ve been an option for quite some time, but NOW they are a bit more sleek and still as protective. High five!
If you’re upgrading to the new Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8+ later this week, OtterBox has you covered (pun intended) with their Defender or Symmetry cases. Their OtterBox Certified Drop Protection (yes, please!) is what you want in a case, but did you know about OtterCares? OtterBox invests in the future through the OtterCares Foundation, promoting innovative education that inspires kids to become entrepreneurs and philanthropists. How cool is that?
Here are some highlights of theses two cases:
OtterBox Defender (shown above) is rugged protection for your phone. It has drop, dust/grim, and multi-layer protection. (There is a cushion inside it to help with impact!) It’s new design is the screenless edition, which gives users direct access to the full infinity screen without hindering use. The Defender is a case that you have to take apart to get it on or take it off your phone, so it fits quite snuggly. This series is MUCH more slim than the ones we’re used to seeing. It is available in a few different solid color combinations in Walmart stores and online for $49.95.
OtterBox Symmetry is sleek protection. This is the case that I usually choose. It’s currently available in several color options and offers protection with a little style. #winning It protects against bumps and scratches, is an ultra-slim one piece design, and is easy to get on and off. The Symmetry is available in Walmart stores and online for $44.95.
Which OtterBox case is your preference? Do you prioritize fashion or function? I’m just trying to find a balance of the two. 😉
