Hi friends,
We’re here today talking about digestive health. I mean, isn’t everyone talking about that right now? Well, turns out, it’s pretty important for our bodies to digest the good food we eat correctly or we won’t reap the benefits of those foods. Who knew?! It makes perfect sense, but I really had no clue until a friend mentioned it to me about a year ago.
Did you know that a good bit of your immune system is actually connected to your digestive system? In your GI tract, to be exact. So, they are connected. You can do a few things to help boost your digestive tract’s functioning.
Garden of Life makes several Digestive and Immune System boosting supplements that I have been loving having as a part of my vitamin routine. As always, consult your healthcare provider before adding any supplements to your diet. Shop Garden of Life in the vitamin aisle at Walmart stores or online.

Let’s start off with the products you’ve heard a ton about.
Taking probiotics helps by adding in good strains of bacteria to your gut. Garden of Life has a Dr. Formulated Probiotic option for everyone. Kids, Women, Men, Mood, etc. Choose the best one for you! My girls take the kids’ version daily, and my husband and I take the gender varieties.
Taking Vitamin C daily is said to help boost immune function and has a host of other benefits. Garden of Life Vitamin C Organic Spray is so easy to take, just spray 5 times in your mouth daily. It tastes great! (My daughters love it- okay for kids four and older.) Just refrigerate it after opening.
You know by now you should be taking a probiotic and that vitamin C is good for you. 😉 However, have you heard about digestive enzymes and how they can benefit you? Digestive enzymes are already in your body, and they help break down proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. By adding in Garden of Life Dr. Formulated Organic Digestive Enzymes, you can aid your body’s ability to absorb nutrients. You chew one up after each meal or snack. Bonus: They taste good! I had my gallbladder removed about five years ago, so digestive enzymes were crucial for my body to be able to fully process the foods I eat.
