Cozy Up Your Home for Fall

Cozy Up Your Home for Fall

The quickest and easiest way to get your home ready for fall/winter is by adding in new throws and pillows! Walmart has a ton of amazing options so we will link our favorites here!

The throw we are most excited about is this Better Homes & Gardens Cozy Knit throw. Bethany has already ordered 3 and by the time this blog post is over, I will too! The cozy knit throw is very similar the popular Barefoot Dreams blankets but at a fraction of the price! The colors are muted and oh so beautiful. I’m drawn to the gray plaid and the pink! Which is your favorite?

Decorative pillows! Our weakness! With so many amazing options, it can be hard to make a decision. I very much appreciate that the price points are so affordable. My advice is to pick a color scheme of about 3 colors that work well together and let that be your guide to choosing your pillows. Varying shapes is also a great way to add interest to your space.

Here is a grouping of our favorites:

The gold tones give off that fall, cozy vibe and the blush helps ground the palette to keep it from feeling over the top seasonal. You could easily transition this palette into Spring/Summer by making a couple of quick swaps.

When switching out pillows, you are posed with the question: how do you store the ones not in use? I recommend grabbing a couple of those vacuum seal storage bags for storing your deco pillows, once you have vacuumed out the air, it’s easy to tuck the bag ‘o pillows under a bed or in the top of a closet.

Happy decorating!

Find all of these options and more at Walmart Stores and of course, on Walmart.com
