Hello Mommas and Daddies,

What is your carseat situation? Do you have a carseat in both cars for all kiddos? Goodness, it can be a worrisome and expensive burden. Luckily, it doesn’t have to be. We’re a two car, two kid family. We’ve only had a carseat for our youngest in our minivan, so if she’s with us that’s the car we’re driving. We have a booster seat for our big girl in both of our vehicles. Enter the Cosco Finale 2-in-1 Highback DX Booster Carseat, found on walmart.com (and coming soon to Walmart stores!) for under $50, plus there are tons of prints/color combos to choose from. (Shown here in Icicles.)

Here are the Cosco Finale’s features:

  • Forward-facing use for a child from 30-65 lbs
  • Belt-positioning use for a child from 40-100 lbs
  • Designed to fit 3 across in most vehicles — great for growing families and car pools
  • Lightweight and easy to move from car to car
  • Dishwasher-safe cup holder detaches for use on either side of seat
  • Easy-to-clean with machine washable and dryable fabrics
  • Crash tested from every angle: front, rear, side and rollover impacts
  • Exceeds Federal Safety Standards
  • Dimensions: 18.25″L x 19.63″W x 29.94″H
  • Weight: 11.25 lbs

Here is what I love most about it: It can safely hold my 30 lb 2.75 year old 😉 OR my 50 lb six year old. How great is that?! That flexibility is perfect for picking up my daughters’ friends from school or hauling extra kids around for playdates.

As always, please adhere to all installation instructions, swing by your local carseat check point (often times police stations will do this for you!) to have your work double checked, and follow all weight requirements for your children’s safety.
