Raise your hand if you have ever owned a George Foreman Grill? My mom and dad got one in the 90s and as a teen I oddly loved that thing. The grill plates on a slant so the grease drained off, brilliant! Well the same idea is still at play but there have been many improvements since they first came out more than 25 years ago. This new smokeless grill can cook 3x faster than regular grills thanks to the contact plates. Speaking of plates, you guys, they are removable, along with the drip tray, and dishwasher safe! Woo Hoo! No one has time to gently wash an appliance. Thanks to the design, it removes up to 50% of fat. Maybe one of the best features is that it can be stored vertically. High five to whoever designed it with storage in mind.
My kids are in the midst of a very long “picky eater” streak so I like to keep things simple when I am cooking for the family. Grilled chicken tenders with a couple of sides is about as adventurous as they get over here. The George Forman grill is perfect for grilling tasty chicken tenders quickly. Have a more mature pallet? Head to their website for tons of tasty recipes.
If you are like me and having a hard time with all the feeding of all the children all the time, pick up this indoor grill and maybe it will breathe new life into your kitchen. It’s been nice to have a new tool in my ‘feed the family’ tool kit.
