You guys!! We had the pleasure of trying out YES TO ’s line of facial wipes recently and I’d say we are hooked. I’ve always been a face wipes fanatic and I’m LOVING that there are five different kinds here to cater to all skin types. While I won’t be completely replacing traditional face washing, there are some nights that I’m just so tired… you know what I’m talk’n bout ladies. A face wipe? Even Super Tired Amanda can do that. Having these wipes rolling around in my “black hole of skincare/makeup/haircare products” bathroom drawer is like having a magic wand when I don’t have it in me to go through the whole soap and lather thing.
Currently, my favorite is the Yes To ‘tomatoes’ acne wipes right now because, unfortunately, my face thinks it’s 15 (Face! Don’t you see the wrinkles??) and therefore I’m battling some unexpected blemishes. Not for long (fingers crossed) thanks to the face wipes. In addition to their natural ingredients which fight acne, they also pack a powerful punch of salicylic acid to zap the unwanted guests off one’s face.
All of the wipes are great for travel but I’m specifically looking forward to using the coconut wipes on my next fight (whenever that may be). You know how dry and clammy you feel when you are jet setting all over the place, right? Yes To coconut wipes will be perfect for such a skin conundrum. In fact, maybe I’ll use one now just to smell like I’m at the beach.
One thing I realized over the last few days of using these face wipes is that as a working mom, I am pretty hard on my skin. Every morning I put on my makeup and it stays on until I go to bed around midnight every night. It’s so silly that I have been leaving my makeup on ALL DAY LONG. Now with these handy wipes, when I get home (and I’m in for the evening) I’ll use a wipe to remove my makeup and let my skin breathe. At bedtime, I typically still go through my regular skincare routine, but it’s nice to know that the makeup is already out of the way and the antioxidant ingredients in the wipes have been “doin’ their thang” on my face.
Did I mention they come in two different sizes? They do! There’s a small travel pack of 10 or full sized package with 25-30 wipes. They all have a subtle fresh scent which I enjoy. Who doesn’t enjoy subtle fresh scents?? Oh, and they are made with compostable, natural cloth, which is a great thing. And the best part is the price point: around $5 at Walmart.
